On February 4th 2012 Komar Jiu Jitsu sent 2 competitors to the NAGA Grappling Championships in Philadelpia Pa.
Sherry who has only been training for 3 months, won a Gold Medal in her Gi Division and a Gold Medal in her No-Gi Division. Sherry has been training very hard and it showed in her matches.
Jose who has been training a little more than 2 years and has been with Komar Jiu Jitsu for about a year won Gold in his Gi Division and Silver in his No-Gi Division. This was the first time Jose competed wearing his new Blue Belt which was awarded to him in December.
Congratulations go out to both of these competitors from the whole team.
