Josh Vogel started training at Balance studios in Center city Philadelphia in 2003 with the brothers Migliarese. Having learned their way of doing the Gracie self defense system and also accumulating years of competition experience has given Josh a sense of how both worlds work and how they fit together into a larger system. Having the good fortune to instruct hundreds of students both publicly and privately at Balance since 2006/7, Josh has spent the last 8 years developing a thorough, detail oriented and methodical style of teaching Jiujitsu. His goal is to help his students learn more than moves, but how Jiujitsu works.
